A Weekend of Courage And Connection

Last month, I had the incredible honour of documenting the Young Adults Weekend hosted by Kidney Care UK at Mount Cook Adventure Centre. This gathering brought together inspiring young individuals living with kidney disease for a weekend of camaraderie and adventure.

As a photographer, I was captivated by their stories of resilience and the strength they've shown in navigating their journeys. It was a privilege to capture the spirit of this event and the connections forged among these remarkable individuals.

From the exhilarating outdoor activities to the heartfelt moments of connection, the weekend was a testament to the human spirit's ability to overcome adversity. The participants' laughter, shared experiences, and unwavering support for one another created a truly inspiring atmosphere.

Witnessing their courage and determination firsthand was a humbling experience that will stay with me for a long time. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this extraordinary event and to have shared their stories with the world.
