From the exhilarating outdoor activities to the heartfelt moments of connection, the weekend was a testament to the human spirit's ability to overcome adversity. The participants' laughter, shared experiences, and unwavering support for one another created a truly inspiring atmosphere.

Recently I had the opportunity to go on a lovely nature walk and do a photoshoot of a couple whose wedding I was going to be capturing this June.

I found it to be a great opportunity to get to know them as a couple and for them to get conmfortable with me as their wedding pohotographer.

As we reflect on the number of women of colour in uniformed service, it's crucial to consider how we can support and uplift these unsung heroes. This can include advocating for diversity and inclusion initiatives within these services, providing mentorship and support networks for women of colour, and challenging stereotypes and biases that hinder their progress. By working together, we can create a more equitable and empowering environment for all women in uniformed service.

With International Women’s Day 2024 coming up in March, this project is to celebrate the contribution of women of colour to our society today. This project will focus on women in uniform. That is military members, law enforcement, EMTs, doctors, nurses, firefighters, athletes, chefs, pilots
